Quamby

The Quamby is a new Australian breed, developed in Tasmania by retired biochemist Dr Gil Stokes as a dual-purpose backyard chicken, bred from the Sussex and New Hampshire breeds. It is named after Quamby Bluff, near his Tasmanian farm. The Quamby is not currently included in the official Australian Poultry Standards.
