Polish

Polish

The Polish is a long-established European breed best known for the large, rounded crest of feathers on its head, which grows from a bony prominence on the top of the skull. Its exact origins are uncertain, but Dutch fanciers are credited with refining its crest and colour patterns, and it was known in England by the 1700s. The Polish is a light, soft-feathered breed that lays white eggs, and it comes in many colours, in both bearded and non-bearded forms.
